Salisbury NC

Just 3 minutes to Downtown Salisbury and a cornucopia of shopping, dining, and entertainment!

The population was 33,663 in the 2010 Census (growing 27.8% from the previous Census in 2000). Salisbury is the home to famed North Carolina soft drink, Cheerwine, regional supermarket Food Lion, and the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. It is one of only two cities in North Carolina to have gigabit capacity through its municipally-owned broadband system Fibrant. A press conference held September 3, 2015 at Catawba College announced Salisbury’s Fibrant system is now capable of 10 gigabit capacity town-wide; believed to be the only town owned system in the world with this capacity.

Our Top Dining:

Go Burrito & Rum Bar: Like Chipoltle but with craft beers and a bar! 4.5 stars from us for amazing fresh food and totally unique house salsas.

The Smoke Pit: Absolutely nothing like this place.  Enough food per plate to feed and army and it’s always perfectly cooked!  5 stars.

Shuck n’ Shack:  You cant get seafood like this without going to the beach and paying a premium!  5 stars.

Hap’s Grill: Larry is the owner and between him and his partner they really know how to cook!!!  They’re famous for their tenderloin, though is to die for we believe their brisket is where it’s at!  5 stars.

La Cava Italian: Looking for something classy for date night?  Nestled in a converted church, this American Italian restaurant is intimate and delicious. 4.5 stars.

Mambo Grill and Tapas: let me start by saying I’ve never seen a more beautiful restaurant!  Mambo’s is a very unique dining experience due to a mix of atmosphere and Cuban cuisine. 4 stars (but totally with it).

Bangkok Downtown:  Up-scale sushi bar.  Great intimate atmosphere and perfectly precise sushi.  4.5 stars.

Wongs Restaurant:  What an odd little place!?!?  Never-the-less the Chinese food is quite inspiring for such a quaint/strange location. 5 stars
